City Health Care Partnership (CHCP) have an exciting opportunity for an experienced M365 Specialist to work across the Humber region to support the transformation of the way the Microsoft 365 services are used in our business, clinical services, and the NHS across the region.
Alongside being the SME for CHCP, the successful candidate with also work with our sister company N3i to support the implementation and ongoing work for the NHS Microsoft 365 offering “N365” within primary care and general practice.
The successful candidate will have the chance to grow into a position that can help drive digital change for the NHS across the Humber region and will be an essential part of our service improvement objectives and delivery of our M365 stack.
The chosen candidate will need to have extensive technical knowledge as well as high level non-technical consultancy skills. A key element of the role will be to understand our business requirements and needs, translating these into technical solutions to ensure we are making best use of the product set and to enable the business to achieve its targets and objectives.
The role will be office based and primarily work between the CHCP Business support centre in Hull and N3i headquarters in Hessle, with flexible home working on occasions available. The use of a suitable vehicle for work purposes and the ability to travel between sites for customer support and meetings is essential.
Microsoft 365 and Azure AD administration
SharePoint data management - including crossover with Azure Information Protection, Data Leakage Policies (DLP), etc.
Data and information governance - retention policies, GDPR etc.
Office365 Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) and Security and Compliance Centre
Excellent communicator at all levels, across both IT and Business stakeholders and teams
Good grasp of IT Service Management and IT Operational Frameworks (e.g. ITIL)
Providing training and business communications to drive change

- Educated to degree level (level 5) (or equivalent experience in specialist M365 area)
- Knowledge of health services and how services interlink
- The post holder will have demonstrable experience as technical authority within the specialist M365 area, and of working in a management role within Information Technology.
- A specialist in-depth technical knowledge of M365 is essential with a demonstrable background in supporting large scale disaster recovery plans.
- The post holder will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and will have the ability to effectively lead and motivate staff as a line manager
- The ability to liaise effectively with senior internal managers and senior external managers is essential. Proven customer facing skills and the ability to work well under pressure are also essential qualities for the post.
- Must possess a strong understanding of industry standards and best practice for End User Computing and Mobility solutions and technologies, with the ability to keep current with industry trends and emerging technologies
- Extensive experience within an IT setting, working with Microsoft windows and Office products
- Experience of successfully managing a number of equally important tasks at the same time
- Development of policies and procedures
- Experience of supervising or managing a team of technical staff
