As an Integrated Care System Surrey Heartlands CCG have a clear ambition to improve the journey and outcomes for Children and Young People living in Surrey. We are recruiting a fixed term Personal Health Budget (PHB) Manager for Children's Commissioning to accelerate our delivery of personalisation within Children and Young People’s Commissioning and deliver on a specific programme of acceleration sponsored by NHS England.
We are looking for an experienced professional who will work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to champion personalisation as a way to improve health outcomes and improve visibility of the offer to professionals working with young people.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills to be able to work across all agencies, developing respectful, professional relationships. You will need to be able to work autonomously but also within a small team and will need exemplary organisational and time management skills. You will need to demonstrate developed project management skills, meeting project milestones, identifying risks and associated mitigations.
You will have significant previous experience in delivering services to young people and their families as part of a multi-agency team. Previous experience of awarding personal budgets and an understanding of how young people with complex health, care and educational needs might benefit from them would be an advantage.
