As Joint Carers Programme Support Officer, you will be working as part of a highly motivated joint health and social care team responsible for the commissioning and development of services and support for carers in Surrey. The postholder will be responsible for providing robust support across a diverse and ambitious programme of work, working closely and collaboratively as part of a joint team.

To ensure smooth delivery against key objectives and priorities, the Programme Support Officer will provide day-to-day administrative support, such as organising meetings (including preparing agendas, collating papers, taking minutes and maintaining clear action logs), collating and disseminating key information, and coordinating business as usual activity across the wider programme and team functions. 

The role will provide project support to a range of workstreams with reach across the system, supporting the development and coordination of project plans and timetables, and maintaining accurate records and information. The Programme Support Officer will work with a broad network of partners and stakeholders, including carers, commissioners and providers, carer support providers, and the voluntary sector.
