The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust provides a full range of acute clinical services for a catchment area of up over 1 million people. The post holder will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Career Development team and associated initiatives that form the NNUH Skills Academy including; the Apprenticeship Programme, Work Experience, and Pre Employment Programmes.
The post holder will be responsible for the co-ordination of the Apprenticeship End Point Assessments for staff undertaking Apprenticeship Standards at the NNUH.
This role will also support the development of virtual work experience programme and creation of social media content for the NNUH Skills Academy Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter pages.
You will work in a supportive team environment where you will be encouraged to share your ideas and support a number of exciting projects
You will work with a broad range of staff from across the Trust as well as external stakeholders including ICB Partners

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
- Act as first point of contact for enquiries relating to Apprenticeships and End Point Assessment.
- Responsible for liaising with the identified Training Provider to monitor the progression of Apprentices ensuring the Apprentice has achieved the Gateway requirements and is ready for End Point Assessment.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining accurate records of Apprentices on an Apprenticeship Standard and associated management information in regards to End Point Assessment.
- Responsible for monitoring the progress of Apprentices undertaking End Point Assessment
- Responsible for producing statistical information on matters relating to the Apprenticeship Programme Work Experience, and Pre Employment Programmes for the Trusts Levy Oversight Group, Workforce Sub Board, Education, Development and Training Committee, Senior Management and other associated Groups.
- Responsible for updating the Skills Academy Social Media accounts and creating content using online design tools.
- Responsible for providing on request information on Apprenticeship End Point Assessment using a variety of methods
- Responsible for responding to routine correspondence and enquiries in an efficient and effective manner in regards to Apprenticeships, Work Experience, and Pre Employment Programmes.
- Responsible for maintaining the computerised and manual filing systems.
- Responsible for updating ESR when Apprentices have successfully completed their Apprenticeship including End Point Assessment.
- Responsible for the organisation and associated tasks of any meetings required in respect of End Point Assessments liaising with all stakeholders.
- Responsible for the production and dissemination of minutes associated with meetings, following up on any action points to ensure outcomes are achieved.
- When requested, carry out all allocated administration relating to the Apprenticeship Programme ensuring that all documentation is fully completed and has the appropriate authorisation.

Travelling to work
Staff parking is available onsite; however, this is limited during core working hours. We have more capacity in the evening and at weekends and can usually provide spaces during those hours.
We look to allocate these spaces fairly. Our Travel Office have a set of criteria that staff must meet in order to qualify. If you qualify for a space, you may be placed on a waiting list if we are at full capacity.
The NNUH is served by a number of public buses, and we offer generously discounted monthly passes with First Bus & Konect.
The Costessey Park and Ride runs regularly each day from 06:30 (from P&R) to 20:45 (from NNUH) and this service is free for NHS staff. There is a regular Thickthorn P&R service as well which is free. Applications to the Travel Office are required for this service. We also have a discounted service from the airport P&R if you purchase a bundle. Please see Konect website for further details.
The NNUH host multiple bicycle racks and a salary sacrifice scheme. We also benefit from a Beryl station onsite.
