Do you want to work in a service where we diagnose lung cancer early and save people’s lives?

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as part of the expanded Greater Manchester Targeted Lung Health Check programme. This award-winning programme delivers lung cancer screening to people aged between 55 and 74 years old, who have ever smoked in their lifetimes, from mobile clinics in the community.

This post will be mainly based in mobile clinics in the community covering the Wigan, Bolton and Salford areas, the role may also involve working at different sites throughout Greater Manchester for the needs of the service

Training and induction will be completed at Wythenshawe hospital and at mobile sites (supermarkets and football stadiums) in the community

Travel payments will be made for any travel completed above home to base mileage.

As a Lung Health Check Specialist nurse you will be responsible for carrying out detailed assessments on patients who attend for lung cancer screening.
