South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust is part of the National Health Service (NHS). We respond to 999 calls from the public, urgent calls from healthcare professionals and provide NHS 111 services across the region.

It ensures that health and social care services provide people with safe, effective, compassionate high quality care and encourages care services to improve.

We have a vision to support our staff and provide a caring, high quality and efficient urgent and emergency care service to our communities.
Our 4,000+ staff provide services to 4.9m people across Kent, Surrey, Sussex and North East Hampshire.
Our two main functions:
- Accident and emergency service to respond to 999 calls
- NHS 111 service for when medical help is needed fast, but it's not an emergency

Electronic Disclosure Application System planned update
The Electronic Disclosure Application System will be taken offline for essential maintenance on Wednesday 5th June 2024 at 09:00 (BST). While the Electronic Disclosure Application System is offline, it will not be possible to complete and submit a DBS application.
This downtime will only affect those of you who need to submit a DBS application. The Electronic Disclosure Application System will be back online by the afternoon of Wednesday 5th June 2024.
The main Candidate Account Area will not be impacted or taken offline. You will still be able to log in to your candidate account to complete other tasks or apply for jobs.
