We have a rarely available opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated Clinician to join Clinical Manager team at Otterbourne, who between them provide round the clock care within the 111 and Integrated Urgent Care Service in Hampshire.

The candidate should have a broad background of experience in multiple areas such as emergency, primary, secondary care through roles such as Nursing or Paramedic sciences together with a Pathways licence. This role will provide an opportunity to add management experience and development to your portfolio.

Already working in 111 as a 111 Clinician and exposed to Clinical and Operational management of the service through roles such as Clinical Navigator this role is a logical next step.

To be successful in this role you must demonstrate:

• Registered Nurse or Registered Paramedic
• Broad Nursing or Paramedic experience
• Strong current clinical knowledge and experience
• NHS Pathways License or prepared to undertake training provided
• Excellent leadership and decision making skills
• Good understanding of Control Room/Contact Centre activity and ability to work in a fluid environment
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to deliver feedback and coaching in a culture of learning and development
• Committed to proactively developing the service for both internal and external customers.
• Effective communication style and ability to liaise effectively with the professional groups that deliver care within the IUC
• Ability to motivate and engage staff in a positive and proactive way.
• High standard of written and digital skill, able to interpret performance data with good attention to detail.

You must also have the ability to work a range of allocated shifts covering 24 hours per day 365 days a year on site at Otterbourne Call centre near Winchester.
