Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (EPUT) was formed on 1 April 2017 following the merger of North Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (NEP) and South Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (SEPT).

The Digital Portfolio Management Office (PMO) Manager will play an integral role in developing and running the Digital PMO for the Trusts Digital Directorate to ensure programmes and projects adhere to new standards and governance, supporting a forward facing view and a single pathway. The postholder will work with the AD of Digital Service Development to set up the initial structure, processes and governance that the form the baseline for the new Digital PMO. Support will be provided to all projects undertaken by the Digital department within their respective teams initially.
The postholder will be expected to interact with all staffing levels across the Trust and work with peers, senior and junior staff within the Digital Directorate, ensuring the effective and efficient management of the portfolio.
The postholder will be required to present PMO updates and highlights to various boards as required. The postholder will be expected to deputise for the AD of Digital Service Development when required.

· Take action to address identified gaps in availability of information and/ or quality in conjunction with senior management colleagues via written highlight reports
· Identify, escalate and take action as appropriate to mitigate any risks to the portfolio identified, via risk reports
· Represent the Trust at STP / ICS meetings to present reports and data, answer queries and agree action required
· Provide specialist advice and prepare strategic reports and briefings for directors and stakeholders.

Portfolio, Programme and Project Management
· To develop the portfolio of projects and programmes, obtaining agreement of yearly delivery including finances, resources and priorities
· Working across departments to ensure the delivery of agreed plans
· As a senior lead working internally and externally with project teams to develop plans and methodology
