Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (HHFT) provides hospital services to around 570,000 people living in Hampshire and parts of West Berkshire, and specialist services to patients from all over the country.

We deliver a full range of district hospital services in a variety of locations. Our acute services are provided from Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital and Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester. We also offer an extensive range of services at Andover War Memorial Hospital, including surgery, elderly rehabilitation and maternity care. In addition to the services delivered in our hospitals, we provide outpatient and therapy services in community settings and in patients’ homes.

We also offer some extremely specialist services. We are one of only two centres in the UK treating pseudomyxoma peritonei, a rare abdominal cancer, and we are national leaders in the surgical treatment of liver and colorectal cancer. We pioneered intraoperative radiotherapy for breast cancer and run a regional haemophilia networked service that serves Hampshire, Dorset, Sussex and Wiltshire.

We also offer private patient facilities in our Candover Clinic and Suite. The money generated from patients who have private medical insurance or who wish to pay for their care is invested into our NHS services to benefit NHS patients. Our facilities include a stand-alone private outpatient clinic and comprehensive diagnostic centre. The inpatient suite offers en-suite rooms and ultra-modern private theatre facilities.

We employ more than 8,000 staff and our turnover in 2019/20 was £450million.
