An exciting opportunity has risen for an exceptional person to join the IBD team.
Joining our IBD team would give you an opportunity to support or be responsible (depending on level of experience) for the development of evidence based nursing practice and nurse led service provision within IBD and the biologics service. The postholder will support the team in running outpatient clinics, reviewing inpatients and supporting the helpline.

You will be expected to work as an autonomous practitioner, responsible for a caseload of patients with IBD and support the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care across primary and secondary care, under the clinical supervision of Consultant Gastroenterologists.
Have an active role in presenting IBD pts in a Multi-disciplinary setting
In addition you will be responsible for providing specialist education and training to other staff and learners and develop and maintain links between primary and secondary care.
