The United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (ULTH) is one of the largest trusts in the country. Through four main hospitals we provide a comprehensive range of hospital-based medical, surgical, paediatric, obstetric and gynaecological services to the 700,000 people of Lincolnshire.
We provide a wide range of healthcare services delivered by 8,600 highly trained staff and volunteers. Our services cost over £400m each year to provide and we invest around £18m each year in improving our clinical services by replacing and upgrading our medical equipment, modernising our estate and facilities and improving our information and technology infrastructure. In an average year, we treat more than 180,000 A&E patients, nearly half a million outpatients and almost 100,000 inpatients.

Our Trust is situated in the beautiful county of Lincolnshire and is one of the biggest acute hospital trusts in England, serving a population of more than 700,000 people. For all other Medical Workforce positions, the full-time entitlement commences from 27 days per annum.
- Bank working: The chance to work extra hours at enhanced rates and we will pay you weekly too, ideal if your income needs a quick boost.

Job overview
We are looking for an inclusive and engaging leader with drive and vision to join the Clinical Leadership Team within Cardiovascular Medicine. You will provide leadership to the Diabetes and Endocrinology Department. The post holder will work with their teams to deliver patient focused, high quality and efficient services for our service users. You will be a role model to staff at all levels within Trust by displaying the highest standard of our values on a day to day basis.
Within this role, you will make a major contribution to creating a compelling vision for your speciality which will include the development of challenging service development strategies, anticipating future needs, challenging existing practices, ensuring that progressive solutions which take into account models of best practice.
