Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is situated on the west coast of Lancashire, with services covering the local authority areas of Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre. The Trust is part of the Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care System (ICS) supporting a population of around 1.6 million people.
We have three main hospitals providing acute services to around 330,000 local residents. The organisation also provides specialist tertiary care for cardiac and haematology services, delivers community health services to over 445,000 residents including those in North Lancashire and hosts the National Artificial Eye Service across England. We are advertising 1 x full time RN position (37.5 hrs) on internal rotation - shifts are early, late, long days and nights.
Ward 37 as a busy 33 bedded mixed sexed cardiology ward. This is a fantastic opportunity if you are looking to work for an organization which values its employees. You will work as an integral member of the team, providing a high standard of nursing care. You must be highly motivated and able to demonstrate good communication skills. Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Accountable within the team for ensuring that the standard of nursing care is of a high level, quality being of prime importance. To adhere to and
practice within the Nursing and Midwifery councils Code of Professional Conduct. Ensure adherence to agreed Trust policies. The post holder will be called upon to take charge of the area regularly as required.
