We are a dynamic in-patient psychology team working across 2 acute wards and on PICU ward (3 part time qualified and 2 fulltime assistant psychologists). We are seeking to recruit a part time clinical psychologist/psychological therapist to work as part of our team. We provide psychological therapies and consultation and MDT working in an Acute inpatient environment using a trauma informed approaches. We have an interest in working psychologically to support people across the broad range of diagnostic categories. We actively encourage applications from people with personal experience of mental health problems. We have an interest as a team in thinking about ways to make psychology more inclusive and available to people from different cultural and social backgrounds and how psychology can help address racial inequalities people face who are using mental health services. We would therefore also strongly welcome applications from people from culturally minoritized backgrounds.
