An exciting opportunity to join the Division of Imaging as a lead for Quality Standards for Imaging (QSI) at Manchester Foundation Trust has become available.

The post holder will provide high profile specialist support to the clinical and managerial team, and to the Radiology and Nuclear Medicine departments, across the Trust on maintaining and coordinating the Quality Standards for Imaging Accreditation Programme.

The post holder will liaise with the Senor Management Team, Divisional Modality Leads, and Modality Leads to ensure quality standards are met across the Division as well as monitoring, reporting and delivering on the requirements of the Quality Standards Imaging (QSI) accreditation process.

The post holder will provide professional support to the Divisional Quality and Safety Lead in the delivery of the Quality Standards Imaging (QSI) accreditation and engage within the clinical areas to assure high standards of care by providing direction, advice and where necessary intervention.

This role will contribute to the achievement of the radiology objectives and the required local and national quality and governance standards by ensuring that all required audits, assessments and reviews are completed within the agreed timeframes and that action plans are regularly monitored and integrated into clinical practice.

Manchester Foundation Trust is seeking to appoint a committed and compassionate radiographer to join our Quality and Safety Team in order to lead the QSI Accreditation Programme. The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate an interest in the Quality Standards for Imaging and have experience of working in project management.

The workload is varied and covers all aspects of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine across the Trust.

The post holder will work closely with the Divisional Quality and Safety Lead to ensure the Quality Standards for Imaging Accreditation Programme is delivered in line with agreed timescales.
