An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate HR Business Partner to join the Corporate Services Board workforce team at UCLH. Working alongside the Deputy Head of Workforce, HR Business Partner, the postholder will support all the corporate directorates within the trust. This is a fixed term role until 31 January 2025, aligned to secondment.
The Associate HR Business Partner will provide both operational and strategic workforce advice and guidance to corporate directorates, working proactively to support the forward planning and performance of the workforce.
The successful candidate will have significant HR generalist experience with proven experience of working with senior managers on strategic workforce agendas. In return, you will be offered a supportive environment to develop your knowledge, skills and experience supported by Corporate Board’s workforce team.

As an experienced HR professional, you will provide proactive, customer focused advice and guidance to managers on a wide range of workforce and OD strategies. To enable this, you will have a full understanding of divisional strategies and objectives and will work collaboratively with stakeholders to identify workforce priorities and develop dedicated interventions.
In this role you will provide comprehensive advice to managers on national conditions of service, employment legislation, Trust policies and procedures and HR best practice. You will coach local managers in the development of people management skills and competence and will support complex organisational change programmes. You will be responsible for the delivery of local and national HR performance targets and will work collaboratively to design and implement initiatives to improve staff experience and wellbeing. You will also be responsible for management of the trust wide HR helpdesk function and line manage HR Advisors supporting this.
