Urgent and Emergency Care services in Lincolnshire see thousands of patients every year by operating the front door to accessing Urgent and Emergency Care in Lincolnshire. As well as providing urgent and emergency care, we are responsible for the management of patient flow across our system, working with partners from a range of other organisations to deliver care closer to home.
Candidates will have experience in a leadership role within the NHS. The successful post holder will role model the values of LCHS, be motivated and committed to delivering our clinical strategy, and understand our role as a key partner in delivering health and social care in Lincolnshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assurance against delivery, including performance management, governance, budget management, contract management and business planning. Utilising a range of specialist skills, partnership working and the ability to work at pace is key. To secure the highest standards of clinical care within the specific services within your remit by providing strong professional and managerial leadership to teams of Urgent and Emergency Care staff.
The post holder is responsible for operational delivery of a designated service portfolio within LCHS and is accountable for providing the assurance against delivery including performance management, Board Assurance Frameworks and business planning.
To act as quality and governance lead providing assurance for the teams you manage.
To support the team to provide a patient centred service based on a strong clinical leadership that has high visibility in clinical practice.
To facilitate the integration of physical health, social wellbeing and mental health services locally, alongside the development of wider partnership working within the Lincolnshire Health and Care programme membership.
To apply, you must hold current registration as a Registered Nurse or AHP. You should hold a Masters level qualification or be able to demonstrate equivalent experience. You must have evidence of leadership, development, change management and effective relationship skills. The ability to demonstrate a successful track record of leading and managing successful high performing teams and services is paramount.
