Manchester Local Care Organisation is recruiting a motivated and dynamic Band 7 Community Physiotherapist to work within the South MLCO Intermediate Care Service.
This role will complement the current structure with an existing B7 OT role and a B7 Team Lead in place, in turn supporting the therapists appropriately and enhancing the level of care provided to patients.
The successful candidate will provide clinical expertise, experience and leadership within their scope of practice to the Intermediate Care Service - Buccleuch Lodge Intermediate Care Unit and the Home Pathway. They will also be competent to manage a caseload of complex cases and be able to develop and support a team of therapists and support workers within the service.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop in a senior role, leading and supporting service delivery, change and staff development. They will be passionate in delivering high quality services and have experience of working as part of a larger integrated health and social care system.

To provide clinical leadership for the Intermediate Care Team and support the team leader in operational leadership.
To work at an advanced level in the assessment and management of complex patients, using advanced clinical reasoning and a variety of evidence -based practice. To carry a complex caseload of patients and support more junior staff in the management of their caseload and development.
To complete appraisals, provide supervision and peer support, and the training of junior staff including students.
To contribute to the Quality and Safety agendas within the services.
To lead on service improvement and change.
