Job overview
An exciting and innovative opportunity has arisen for a Band 7, Quality and Patient Safety Specialist Practitioner/ Nurse at North Manchester General Hospital. Working closely with the ward/department/theatre teams. You will be responsible for the delivery of the quality and patient safety agenda across the Division of Surgery.

As the Quality and Patient Safety Specialist Practitioner/ Nurse, you will form professional collaborative relationships with the MFT Digital Transformation Team, Risk and Governance Team and the Patient Experience Team.
We are looking for a highly motivated professional to undertake this dynamic and progressive role, with the ability to work autonomously with flexibility to ensure the demands of the service are met.

Essential criteria
- Significant experience as a registered healthcare professional Proven experience of change management Extensive experience in developing and delivering education programmes to varied audiences Experience in working across professional and organisational boundaries (internal & external)
Desirable criteria
- Experience in writing for publication Experience in MFT clinical information systems from user perspective
