An exciting career opportunity to train as a District Nurse in Yorkshire
NHS England, health care providers from across Yorkshire and Leeds Beckett University are undertaking a regional campaign to recruit registered nurses to commence a District Nursing training programme to start in September 2024.
You must have a current Registered Nurse (Adult) registration and hold a first degree (2:2 or above) in a relevant subject OR Leeds Beckett University may be able to consider your experience by completing Professional Portfolio Development (PPD) module (please contact Leeds Beckett for details. This module commences late January 2024). You will also need to demonstrate your positive attitude to managing and leading teams and commitment to client centred community care. Applicants will need to satisfy the entry criteria for NMC Non-Medical Prescribing (https://www.leedsbeckett.ac.uk/courses/cpd-courses/health/non-medical-prescribing---nmc-registration/#:~:text=Course%20Overview&text=The%20N%2DMP%20module%20is,Competency%20Framework%20for%20all%20Prescribers.)
*Applicants considered for the Apprenticeship route will need to evidence GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4/C.
