An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join the Allied Health Professions (AHP) Division as Personal Assistant to the Divisional Director of AHP’s.
In this key position, you’ll provide confidential and comprehensive support to our Divisional Director to deliver quality services that meet national standards and targets. You will be a vital part of the central function that provides support and leadership to almost 950 staff across the AHP division.
You’ll undertake complex diary management linking with internal and external partners from the NHS and use your initiative and judgement to help the Divisional Director manage multiple competing demands.

You will provide comprehensive and professional PA support to the Divisional Director of AHP’s (DD). Ensuring they are appropriately briefed and up to date with planned meetings and internal/external appointments.
You will undertake complex diary management including forward planning and use judgement when making decisions for resolving diary conflicts. You will be required to liaise with Executive Director’s offices and senior members of the CSS Division, external partners and stakeholders.
You will take ownership for organising meetings on behalf of the DD, provide papers, take effective minutes for circulation and follow up actions.
In the absence of the DD, you will use initiative and judgement to oversee the inbox of the DD to ensure that any urgent matters are appropriately and efficiently directed to the appropriate person/department.
Attention to detail is essential as is the ability to validate, manipulate and transfer raw data into meaningful, high-level reports.
You will need to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication and analytical skills and with a strong work ethic, will demonstrate initiative and a sense of accountability, hence an ability to work autonomously in a demanding and fast-paced environment, prioritising tasks effectively whilst working to deadlines is essential.
