Job overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality and Clinical Standards Facilitator and are looking for a motivated and dedicated individual with a keen eye for detail to join our small, close-knit team.
The team is well established within the Primary, Community and Dental Services Directorate and the role will require you to work both from our base in the centre of Oxford and remotely.

As the Quality and Clinical Standards Facilitator you will support the delivery of robust quality and governance systems within the Directorate. This will include coordinating the management of clinical incidents, GP feedback and reporting on priorities within the Primary, Community and Dental Services Directorate.
You will be a key link and interface between the wider Directorate and the Corporate Governance teams supporting compliance with the Trust policies including incident and risk management. In addition you will also support the Quality Team to provide guidance to individuals or groups of staff in delivering training on internal processes and assist in developmental events to promote quality patient care.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

Leading the development and analysis of information and data relating to quality and governance.
Establishing standard operating procedures for services to ensure completeness of key data.
Initiating any corrective actions necessary to provide assurance that data is complete, accurate and fit for purpose.
Providing advice on response to policy or guidance (e.g. NICE guidelines)
Supporting and ensuring delivery of the audit programme and other quality and safety metrics pertaining to the Directorate.

- Significant demonstrable experience in an analytical/data management role
Desirable criteria
- Additional knowledge of staff or project management acquired, through training and relevant experience

Technical expertise/competence

- Significant experience utilising analysis techniques to interrogate interpret and present complex data to meet customer needs
- Experience of analysing and interpreting complex qualitative and quantitative information to inform improvement solutions.
- Experience of developing and sustaining partnerships with multiple stakeholders both internal and external.
- High level written and verbal communication skills to present and explain complex data, and apply to local priorities and programmes for a range of stakeholders.
- Highly proficient in MS Excel, Word and Power Point, Advanced SQL skills
- Have a good understanding of the Data Protection Act and patient confidentiality regulations
Desirable criteria
- Experience of training and/or supporting software use
- Knowledge of NHS Electronic Patient Record Systems and supporting procedures
- Demonstrable data-analysis skills to interrogate interpret and present complex data.
