Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust

About

Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust provides specialist mental health, learning disability, children’s and community healthcare services for the population of the Black Country.

Across the whole of the region we provide:

  • Adult and older adult mental health services
  • Specialist learning disability services
  • CAMHS

Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust was formed on 1 April 2020, after NHS England and NHS Improvement approved the merger of Black Country Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and Dudley and Walsall Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust.

Combining resources, strategies and talented workforce enables us to deliver a wider variety of outstanding services that are based on best practice and are continually improving.

We currently employ over 4,000 members of staff and just like the population we serve, we are made up of diverse cultures and backgrounds.

Whatever your background or education, working in a healthcare setting like ours is a demanding yet extremely rewarding experience. We offer exciting and rewarding career opportunities in a variety of fields, from nursing, psychiatry, counselling and pharmacy to admin and support roles such as IT, estates and facilities and human resources.

We take pride in supporting, developing and engaging with our workforce. Staff engagement, recognition and wellbeing are vital to the success of our organisation, and we strive to provide a setting in which our staff can showcase their skills, innovative solutions and dedication to healthcare.

By becoming part of our growing organisation, we will invest in your career with a variety of professional training courses, development and progression opportunities to enable you to reach your potential. From apprenticeships and clinical placements to volunteering roles and agency work, there is something for everyone within our Trust, so take a look at our current vacancies and what we can offer you.

If we don’t currently have what you’re looking for, register your interests with the NHS Jobs notification service and be one of the first to know of new vacancies within our Trust. You can also follow us on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn to keep up-to-date with what’s happening in our Trust.

BCHFT is paying the REAL LIVING WAGE

Our success as Black Country Healthcare depends on our people. Every day, in so many ways, colleagues in so many roles are going above and beyond to deliver the best for our service users and our communities.

We’re working with the Living Wage Foundation, which works to support workers on lower pay, to make sure everyone who works for our trust can benefit from the Real Living Wage.

BCHFT is committed to being an anti-racist organisation

Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust reaffirm our condemnation of all forms of discrimination, racism and violence, and we declare our commitment to become an anti-racist organisation. Please see our full declaration on the work we are doing to achieve this.
