Job overview
We are looking to recruit a CAFM System & Data Manager who will be responsible for all aspects of Computer Aided Facilities Management across all disciplines within the trust using MRI’s Evolution system.
This is an exciting opportunity for you to shape and standardise processes for the Estates and Medical Engineering services. You will need to solve complex issues and make rapid improvements for stakeholders who work in very complex environments.
You will also act as the go between Operations and Technical teams defining the best practice innovation and manage ideas through to implementation across the directorate. This role requires you to be people centric and provide support in the development of the system, working with users to implement best practice and system management. Other aspects of this role will include management of the Trusts WIFI tracking and temperature management system and other 3rd party systems within the directorate.

Applicants should be qualified to degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject and have proven experience working with CAFM systems, experience in computer programming and system development is essential with a good understanding of SQL.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
- This challenging post will require the post holder, under limited direction, to analyse business requirements, create technical design documents, and provide on-going application support for the Estates Directorate’s CAFM and QMS systems. The post holder will be an integral member of the team responsible in providing services to meet the Trust’s Estates and EME business requirements.
- Investigate specialist or complex system issues
- Provide in-house bespoke software analysis, design, development, testing and software support services -.
- Provide a support service to identify and rectify bugs and faults logged by the team
- Develop or adapt complex software / web pages / information reports
- Provide support to the Estates Management team relating to any third party products / solutions
- Work with the IM&T team and external suppliers to ensure that all applications are resilient providing maximum availability.

Essential criteria
- A degree or equivalent qualification & experience including courses in computer programming, systems analysis, system development, or systems engineering.
- A formal qualification or relevant experience working in an ISO9001 environment.
Desirable criteria
- Masters level qualification

- A recognised IT competency qualification.

Essential criteria
- Experience of implementation & management of computer aided facilities management (CAFM) systems
- Possess a comprehensive knowledge of all relevant standards, regulations and codes of practice relating to the management of a complex hospital estate, medical devices and associated technologies.
- Have experience in project management techniques, ideally holding a recognised project management qualification.
