Trosolwg o'r swydd
Are you a Child Branch Student Nurse due to qualify summer 2024?
If the answer is yes, this is an opportunity for you to apply to join the UCLH Paediatric 18 Month Rotation Programme for October 2024.
This rotation provides newly qualified nurses with the opportunity to experience different nursing specialties, teams and environments to gain greater understanding of the nurse you are and the future you want whilst providing you with a tool kit of core and specialised skills to kick start your career.
Advert
You will rotate around 3 different clinical areas over an 18 month period which may include:-
- Adolescent medicine/surgery/rehabilitation
- Acute Paediatric Admissions
- Teenage Cancer Trust Unit
- Paediatric and Adolescent Daycare
- Paediatric Oncology
- Opportunities to explore a later rotation placement in our Level 3 Neonatal Unit, Paediatric Emergency Department or Paediatric Theatres
You will receive a comprehensive induction and be supported by a Nurse Educator in each clinical area as well as a named Preceptor.
Three monthly development reviews and regular study days mean you stay on track with your learning throughout the rotation and get lots of support to help you achieve your full potential. After the rotation you will be guaranteed a post within the Paediatric Division.
Our latest CQC report for Paediatric Services was very positive about the care children and young people received with a rating of “Good” across the board including the education and support our staff receive. We also have the largest adolescent unit in the UK, an award-winning diabetes team and our Staff Survey consistently indicates our staff would recommend UCLH as a place of work. This year we were the No.1 Trust in England for the second year running!
