Detailed job description and main responsibilities

What are we looking for?

Experience of working with young people and families
Understanding of neurodiversity
Understanding of health care governance appropriate to the role and to work collaboratively with the team
An ability to maintain minimum clinical standards at all times
High quality record keeping including ensuring records are up-to-date and entered within 24 hours
To work well within a team whilst having the confidence to work autonomously
Good organisational and interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills

The team is based within the stunning West Sussex countryside, though we deliver care from multiple sites. Your specific area of coverage will be Coastal, which covers Worthing and Chichester bases.

Our main administrative base is in Horsham.

Registered Nurse/ Occupation Therapist/ with current registration [mental health/LD/Adult/ Child], appropriate to the job role

Knowledge/Experience

Knowledge of MHA (1983/2007)
Knowledge of Mental Capacity Act (2005), to include practical knowledge of FACE documentation, DOLS and Best Interest decisions
Child and Adult safe guarding procedures
Change management at organising and prioritising their workload
Demonstrate ability to enhance care through evidence based knowledge
Demonstrate professional development relevant to the specific care group
