Controller Responder

Job overview

An opportunity has arisen for a Controller Responder within the Carecall247 service (part of Provide CIC).  This post involves answering calls within a busy Control Centre  and providing an emergency response to customers that require assistance and/or have experienced a fall. The post holder will be part of a team responding to Provide customers requiring a support visit. The post holder will be based in Colchester during office hours, although after training, some home working may be possible.

Working largely on your own initiative, you will undertake a variety of duties specific for the day to day running of the service. You must have the ability to empathise with the needs of our service users and solve problems with the minimum of supervision.

You must be a car driver and be willing to travel within Essex.

A mature, common sense approach is essential, as is the ability to problem solve promptly with the minimum of supervision, be flexible and a good team player.
