Fylde Coast Mental Health Support Team (MHST) is excited to be recruiting a Clinical Lead to become part of the MHST and wider Children and Young People's Primary Mental Health Services at this important development stage.
The post holder will work closely with the Service Lead, Clinical Lead and Team Leaders to ensure the service provides early intervention and promotes good mental wellbeing to children and young people.
Working across the Fylde Coast, you will undertake consultations, assessments and short-term evidence-based clinical interventions with children and young people. You will also provide support, advice and consultation to families/carers, education staff and other professionals.
In addition, you will supervise practitioners within the team, and if you do not already have an Increasing Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) supervision qualification, training for this will be provided at a north-west university.
Some evening and weekend working may be required as well as participating in the on-call rota so you will need a flexible attitude to the role.
