The United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) is one of the largest trusts in the country. Through four main hospitals we provide a comprehensive range of hospital-based medical, surgical, paediatric, obstetric and gynaecological services to the 700,000 people of Lincolnshire.
We provide a wide range of healthcare services delivered by 8,600 highly trained staff and volunteers. Our services cost over £400m each year to provide and we invest around £18m each year in improving our clinical services by replacing and upgrading our medical equipment, modernising our estate and facilities and improving our information and technology infrastructure. In an average year, we treat more than 180,000 A&E patients, nearly half a million outpatients and almost 100,000 inpatients.

Anaesthetic Practitioner Duties
Provide assistance to the anaesthetist and surgeons in a variety of situations, including those required in all outlying areas
Maintain knowledge of all specialist equipment used in theatre and outlying areas and promote its safe and effective use
Frequently work at a high level of autonomy particularly in out of hours work, following a period of preceptorship
Maintain a clean environment to minimise the risk of cross infection and maximise the control of infection.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults, both as service users and visitors to Trust Premises. The post holder, in conjunction with their line manager, will be responsible for ensuring they undertake the appropriate level of training relevant to their individual role and responsibilities and that they are aware of and work within the safeguarding policies of the trust.
