The post holder will be responsible for professional leadership and day-to-day operational management of a Health Visiting Team in the Greenwich 0-4 Children’s Public Health Service.
This is an exciting time to join the service which is undergoing transformation, building a strong, influential tri-borough public health nursing service. Key priorities include developing a sustainable, highly skilled workforce with clear nursing career pathways and integrating health visiting and school nursing.

The post holder will be responsible for professional leadership and day to day operational management of a Health Visiting Team in the Greenwich 0-4 Children’s Public Health Service.
The post holder will monitor the team's performance and provide clinical and management supervision to team members and supply professional advice, including safeguarding and clinical input within their area of practice.
The post holder will work with Head of Health Visiting, Service Lead and other Locality Leads in Greenwich, Bromley and Bexley to improve standards and promote good practice and clinical effectiveness within the Greenwich 0-4 Children’s Public Health Service.

The post holder will be responsible for the daily operations within a health visiting team. They will work closely with other locality leads, professional development nurse and specialist health visitors to support staff in achieving key objectives for the service.
The post holder will review the KPIs and other relevant data monthly for the service and highlight any anomalies in the data ahead of the quarterly contract meetings.
The post holder will work closely with the Greenwich 0 to 4 Service Lead.

Salary is determined by NHS experience and current banding/pay point. External applicants will begin at the entry point of the salary scale in line with NHS terms and conditions.
