Job overview
The Workforce Systems Team have an exciting opportunity to work within our electronic rostering (eRostering) team as an eRostering Trainer/Systems Administrator.
You will be working within a friendly and supportive team that prides itself upon providing its members with regular learning and development opportunities, full support and supervision.
Please note there is a requirement to be based on site (Portland House) for a minimum of one day per week.

You will support the eRostering Lead and eRostering Deputy Lead in the implementation of all aspects of a complete Staff Time, Attendance and Rostering (STAR) system to ensure that the system is fully incorporated within inpatient and out of hours services, as well as Monday - Friday 9-5 services.
You will also maintain, and act as the visible and accessible point of contact for advice, guidance, support and training on all aspects of eRostering and associated rostering applications (where appropriate).
You will be required to deliver remote (virtual) and where appropriate, face-to-face training to new and existing eRostering end users whilst also providing on-going support through the Trust eRostering helpdesk. You will also support with maintaining the systems administration, as well as supporting with the production of relevant eRostering reports.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Please see attached Job Description and Person Specification for a full list of duties and responsibilities. Some of the key responsibilities are as follows:
- To provide both remote and face to face training to all levels of the organisation on all aspects of eRostering and any supported applications within this.
- To support the eRostering Team in conducting and maintaining a review of activity, rostering demand and budgeted establishments.
- To work closely with all levels of staff to ensure accurate data is held on ESR and accurately interfaces to the Trust eRostering system, liaising with the ESR team for advice.
- To support the eRostering Deputy Lead in the maintenance and implementation of the eRostering system across the trust, planning in conjunction with other trust developments and ensuring that current (and varied) terms and conditions are applied accurately
- To produce accurate and timely reports based on agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) as required and distributing as agreed by the STAR team
- Work with and alongside e-rostering leads to review past roster performance, identifying areas of low efficiency and suggesting corrective actions to improve performance
- To input staff / ward data as required; ensuring timely, accurate data is available to users for roster production, including all new starters / leavers and changes to staff data.
- To undertake regular reviews to ensure data held on ESR and the eRostering system is accurate, up-to-date and in unison
- To provide system administration, including generation and maintenance of user accounts and passwords.
