This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a stakeholder engagement background to join the NHSCFA Fraud Hub to support and enable an effective counter fraud response across the NHS. The postholder will be responsible for delivering on client and group specific stakeholder engagement and improvement programmes across the NHS. Co-ordinating and managing the process of direct and indirect collaborative engagements with individual health bodies and stakeholder groups, the postholder will facilitate and enable the alignment of the collective counter fraud response between the national body and the counter fraud community as a whole.

The role is situated in the Fraud Hub, the main point of contact between NHSCFA and the counter fraud community across the NHS. Working across the NHS landscape with a wide range of stakeholders, they will ensure that the NHSCFA (NHS Counter Fraud Authority) are at the heart of supporting and enabling an effective counter fraud response across the sector and is continually responsive to meet the needs of a changing counter fraud landscape and the needs of the NHS counter fraud community.

In addition to the advertised salary working in the London area will attract High-Cost Area Supplement where appropriate. Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Responsible for the management and coordination of the NHSCFA stakeholder engagement plan.
Responsible for the design of stakeholder engagements and activity utilising a variety of strategies to engage to maximise counter fraud performance with stakeholder groups, ensuring a consistent and positive approach is adopted
Responsible for the design, oversight and delivery of coordination of NHSCFA stakeholder engagement events – both face to face and virtual – including regional and local fraud fora
Responsible for managing the production and delivery of stakeholder content, including via newsletters/bulletins and management of content delivered via sector intranet/extranet
Responsible for managing and coordinating liaison with specific segmented stakeholder groups

Specialist Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Knowledge and understanding of a wide range of engagement tools including, but not limited to, conferences, forums and workshops through to surveys
- Ability to translate complex, and sometimes sensitive, information into accessible engagement messages
- Knowledge and understanding of the structure of the NHS
Desirable criteria
- Technical publication production.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Public Sector Counter fraud landscape
Experience
Essential criteria
- Experience of engaging with a wide variety of stakeholders, at all levels, from across a variety of sectors.
- Experience of managing and developing staff
- Experience of producing a range of engagement resources i.e. newsletters and surveys to diverse stakeholders with tailored messaging to targeted audiences.
- Significant experience of engagement evaluation reporting to internal and external management on activity and outcomes
Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline or equivalent relevant experience
Desirable criteria
- Accredited Counter Fraud Specialist qualification or member of Government Counter Fraud Profession (investigation or Fraud Risk Assessment discipline)
- Professional industry qualification in the field of engagement and/or communications

- Excellent interpersonal negotiation and influencing skills, especially handling complex issues and topics with a range of stakeholders at various levels
- Excellent written communication skills and experience of producing a range of engagement resources from, but not limited to, newsletters to Q&As for audiences at all levels of seniority.

- Excellent presentation skills with a flexible approach to adapt to different audiences
