Job overview
This is not an approved training position, however you will receive the following;
- Named educational supervisor
- Induction and bespoke new starter induction pack outlining internal training courses/opportunities available to doctors in these non-approved training positions
- Individual training plan
- NHS e-portfolio (Division will fund but needs to be in contract that it will be recovered if leave before agreed end of contract)
- Appraisal at 6 months and individual access to e-appraisal system
- Support towards obtaining Alternative Certificate confirming achievement of foundation competencies to aid those who want to access a recognised training position in the future.

We are actively looking for a Trust ST3+ Doctor to join our Acute Medical Team covering AMU, Short Stay Unit and Same Day Emergency Care.
The successful applicant will be expected to have significant previous experience in acute medicine and be registered and licensed with the General Medical Council.
Trust Doctors are not formally approved training posts, but the post holder will have Consultant-led education and supervision and will be supported in their professional development.

Currently the charges are - Basic DBS check £22.00, Standard DBS check £22.00 and Enhanced DBS check £42.00.
You are encouraged where possible, to register for the DBS update service. This is an annual registration fee of £13. By registering for the update service you will not have the additional cost of repeated disclosures.
Should you withdraw your application, you may be required to reimburse the cost of the DBS check.
