Havens Hospices provides palliative nursing and supportive care to adults and children living with complex or incurable conditions.
Our specialist Care Teams can support them and their family living throughout illness, death and bereavement, in the comfort of their own home and through our hospice services, Fair Havens and Little Havens.
We focus on their quality of life, caring for individual physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual needs. We don’t charge a penny for any of our care services. Our hospice care can only exist because of the support and generosity of the community.

Our Wellbeing team has an opportunity for a new Complementary Therapist.
This role will be key in providing supportive therapy treatments for patients, carers, and staff.

To provide a range of individualised therapy treatments, within the sphere of competency and policy guidelines, whilst supporting the development of a complementary and wellbeing service across Havens Hospices Care Services in collaboration with the Service Lead / Wellbeing Manager.

Swydd-ddisgrifiad a phrif gyfrifoldebau manwl
- To support patient’s emotional wellbeing during therapy sessions and to support them to access care and support.
- To ensure accurate and individualised assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of complementary therapy treatments to patients, carers, and staff.
- To be responsible for the provision of comprehensive recording of treatments, outcomes, and communication of patient information.
- To demonstrate an understanding of illness associated with palliative care and the potential complications, contraindications and side effects of treatments being offered.
- To manage referrals and bookings with the Service Lead and Wellbeing Coordinator.
