Job overview
The primary purpose of this role is to support the Director of Estates, Facilities and Capital Development with the successful delivery of capital and revenue, new and refurbishment projects across the Trusts vast property portfolio.
We are a team of construction and property professionals with a proven track record of delivering award winning capital and revenue projects on time and within budget. We pride ourselves with our holistic approach to construction project management supported by the diverse range of knowledge and skill of our team.
As a chartered construction professional (member of RIBA,RICS, CIOB or similar) you will have considerable post qualification experience at Programme Manager level or a Senior Project Manager looking for your next career step. You should have a thorough understanding of the design, procurement and construction process in the acute healthcare market or similar service environment.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Key Responsibilities: Be accountable for the delivery of key Capital and Revenue Projects, recent examples have included the delivery of an award winning 48 bed Critical Care Unit using Modern Methods of Construction, expansion of a fully operational Emergency Department and installation of ground-breaking imaging equipment.
Assist in the production and delivery of the Trusts 5 year Capital Programme (circa £30m per annum) along with leading on several exciting capital and revenue bid opportunities.
Work with the Director of Estates, Facilities and Capital Development on shaping our built environment by assisting with the drafting and implementation of the Trusts Masterplan in collaboration with our Clinical Strategy 2023-2028.
Provide specialist advice to the Board on design, procurement, construction of healthcare projects, ultimately to improve the care we provide to our patients.
