Our services cost over £400m each year to provide and we invest around £18m each year in improving our clinical services by replacing and upgrading our medical equipment, modernising our estate and facilities and improving our information and technology infrastructure. In an average year, we treat more than 180,000 A&E patients, nearly half a million outpatients and almost 100,000 inpatients.

For all other Medical Workforce positions, the full-time entitlement commences from 27 days per annum.

United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking to recruit Health Care Support Workers for main Theatres, Lincoln. Vacancies will be available in a variety of clinical specialities within the Theatre complex at Lincoln County Hospital, with contracted hours to suit both full time and part time working.
There are 10 Operating rooms in the Theatre Department at Lincoln County Hospital, working across a range of specialities; Breast, Gynae, Ophthalmics, ENT, Maxillo-Facial, Orthopaedics, Obstetrics, Urology, General surgery, Emergencies and Trauma, working with both adults and children. The philosophy of the theatre Departments is to provide compassionate excellence in practice, promoting safe and effective care in a positive work environment. Continuing education and skills development is an essential part of that practice. We aim to treat all our patients as individuals to ensure their care is specific to their needs. As key members of the multi-disciplinary team, healthcare support workers provide competent and effective focused quality care, acting as the patients' advocate, and ensuring lists run smoothly and patients feel safe and well cared for during their time in theatre.

- Literacy and numeracy qualifications equivalent to Functional Skills level 1 or above (e.g. GCSE grade E or above)
