We are seeking enthusiastic Health Visitors to join our dynamic, diverse, and supportive team. You must be a registered Health Visitor (SCPHN - Health Visiting) with current NMC registration.
Here in Manchester we are continuing to re-shape the way Health Visitors work. We have a diverse and inclusive team of Health Visitors and Community Nursery Nurses who work together as part of our highly skilled 0-5 early years workforce. We use an integrated and targeted family support offer developing innovative approaches to early help and prevention. In this role you will be making a real difference to Manchester families lives.

We work as part of an integrated team to deliver the Healthy Child Programme, in partnership with families to develop and agree tailored health plans to address their parenting and health needs.
Our Health Visiting teams support families to identify their health needs and supported by clinical specialist Health Visitors with additional training you will have opportunities to develop your practice and to work to programmes of care that meets the public health needs of the population.
Our Health Visitors provide parenting skills support and information both through coordinating/participating in parenting groups and one to one home visits to families, especially for those children and families identified with complex health needs/vulnerabilities.
We work in collaboration with other health care and service providers to ensure seamless delivery of services for clients and communities.
As a large teaching Trust we host up to 20 SCPHN students every year. Our student education offer is a priority for the service and we are the largest teaching service in the area, this gives lots of opportunities for our staff to develop and be involved in the training of the future health visiting workforce.
