Job overview
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well established and pro-active Digital Skills Training Team as a Digital Skills Training and Support Officer.
The post holder provides administrative support to the Digital Skills Training Team acting as the first point of contact for training enquiries received via email and telephone.
We are looking for a self motivated, flexible person with a can-do attitude and an eye for detail. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, embrace change, enjoy a challenge, and have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Main duties of the job are to:
- Assist the Digital Skills Training Manager in the Department’s administration duties
- Communicate effectively with team colleagues, internal BCHC staff and external agencies
- Deal directly and pro-actively with all correspondence, including matters which are confidential or sensitive
- Work independently to resolve day to day issues
- Monitor and amend (where required) staff records on the ESR system
- Manage issues arising within the Department ensuring they are dealt with effectively, efficiently and appropriately

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

The post holder will work with an experienced team of Digital Skills Trainers to support with the provision of an efficient Digital Skills training service to the Trust.
They will be responsible for supporting the day to day running of the Digital Skills Training team, handling training requests and bookings effectively and efficiently and for maintaining and updating accurate training records.
UK Home Office Visa Sponsorship requirements
In accordance with UK Home Office requirements, Band 2 clinical and non-clinical roles and Band 3 Non-Clinical roles are not eligible for sponsorship.
Please note that the majority of non-clinical roles (Agenda for Change Band 3 - 6) with the exception of those which appear on this list - link, will not meet the minimum requirements set by UK Visas and Immigration to sponsor candidates to work in the UK.
All non-clinical roles (Agenda for Change Bands 7 - 9) that meet the prescribed skill level (RQF 6) and salary threshold will be eligible for sponsorship.

- I.T. qualification e.g.: ECDL/ RSA/ OCR or equivalent experience in using Microsoft applications
- Educated to O Level/ GCSE standard with Grades C and above in Maths and English or equivalent
