Job overview
Data and Analytics directorate support the breadth of NHS England’s responsibilities. The Federated Data Platform (FDP) programme team is part of NHSE Data Services. This enabling function will deliver the FDP programme which will support the connection of data across the NHS. The FDP solution will connect existing IT systems, making it easier for staff to access the information they need in one safe and secure environment, this will enable them to improve coordination, plan and deliver high quality care.
The FDP team will support adoption and roll out across Trusts and ICBs who will have their own instance of the platform.
The FDP Deployment & Training Team is a dynamic team in delivering an effective service to:
· support the delivery of the national products to go live and post go live across the organisation,
· support product teams to meet the FDP standards and timelines
· ensure that high-quality training and support is available for users to increase their skills on the Centre of Excellence
· work on improving user experience on training, deployment
· deliver excellent outcomes for patients by utilising cutting-edge data technology

In this role focussed on Deployment, the post holder will be part of a dynamic team in delivering an effective service supporting managers and staff across the Data and Analytics Directorate, to deliver products from the Data platforms across the organisation, and to ensure that high-quality training and support is available for users to increase their skills and deliver excellent outcomes for patients by utilising cutting-edge data technology.
The post holder will lead the provision of an efficient, effective and high-quality professional and well-coordinated team within Data Services capable of meeting all statutory, regulatory and NHS requirements ensuring alignment with the activity of the organisation.
The post holder will be working in an agile and matrix fashion, engaging with Subject Matter Experts to ensure the embedding of programmes of work pertaining to the programme.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
The post holder will be responsible for:

Working as a key part of the Deployment and Training team, fulfilling the priorities for the team aligned to business requirements, allocating work in an agile project way; supporting and developing the team.

Supporting product teams in the preparation of products for deployment and post deployment to the required standards of the FDP;
-
Proactively engaging and collaborating with subject matter experts, workstream leads, programme colleagues, suppliers maintaining effective and efficient programme delivery.

Analysing data and project reports to ensure that work streams are up to date and running to time escalating any serious risks and supporting project teams to mitigate more manageable risks
-
Ensuring accurate and open communication and co-ordination with a range of audiences, levels, organisations, and individuals, researching and drafting correspondence and papers and ensuring the management of specific tasks, lead reporting and analysis across a range of specialties, functions and projects.

Planning, designing and delivering high quality training activities to develop user skills and knowledge in various formats including in person and virtual formats, depending on need.

Identifying user requirements, planning content, including building scripts for digital content.

Explaining/ demonstrating complex technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders with a focus on business benefit

Setting up reporting frameworks, gathering data and reporting outcomes to create recommendations for product and service improvements.

Identifying best practice, consulting with others, devising governance procedures (such as SOPs), training and communicating these with relevant users

Reviewing and Managing platforms to ensure high quality user experience.

Developing and implementing systems/processes to ensure information is properly managed and best practice is shared across the team, Directorate, and the wider NHS organisations as appropriate, including identifying accessibility requirements.
