Detailed job description and main responsibilities

What will we give you?

Once you have started with Oxford Health you will be on the road to develop and hone your clinical skills. We offer each person a bespoke induction in your team with a period of being supernumerary , which is usually up to 4 weeks. We will ensure you can attend the District Nursing Induction programme, this is tailored to district nursing staff, encompassing as facets of Oxford Health and the lived experience of what you will do, giving you an insight into the organisation. The preceptorship programme is another opportunity for you and you will be able to undertake a service development project. Oxford is a world-renowned centre of excellence for research. Oxford Health works closely with the University of Oxford department of Psychiatry and the Department of Primary care, has a Biomedical Research Centre dedicated to improving mental health and the NIHR Clinical Research Facility at the Warneford site. The Trust also hosts the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration (ARC) which carries out applied research that directly impacts patient health and wellbeing

Evidence of clinical ability. catheterisation, meds administration, wound care
