There is an exciting Band 7 ward manager opportunity on R2. If you are highly motivated, resilient with a drive for quality, this is an ideal opportunity to support your development. This is an excellent opportunity to work with an excellent team of diverse specialities and expert practitioners.
Ward R2 is a 14 bedded unit, consisting of 8 acute monitored beds. You will be responsible for managing the ward, promoting a positive patient and staff experience and leading on the delivery of excellent nursing care. This role requires close working relationships with a wide range of people including the Multi-Disciplinary Team, the Consultants, Heads of Nursing, Matrons and other Ward Managers - excellent communication skills are key. You will further develop your clinical, management and leadership skills with support from the senior nursing team here within Division D at Cambridge University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

The post holder will demonstrate professional leadership having 24 hours overall responsibility for the operational management of the ward.
