Job overview
The Head of Operations in North East Ambulance Service Unified Solutions (NEASUS) will provide effective operational leadership to the delivery of services to the NEAS Group and income generation activities.
The successful candidate will be required to oversee and support all NEASUS operational delivery including vehicle workshops at Pallion & Blaydon, Equipment, Hygiene, Admin and Logistics teams.
You will need to be delivery focused and have a strong grip of operational budgets, be responsible for policies and procedures of all business operations and take the lead on effective risk management of business operations and supply chain management.
You will take the lead for regulatory compliance of the fleet and medical equipment, ensuring appropriate monitoring is in place to provide assurance on this.
As the Head of Operations you will be responsible for the attainment of operational performance targets in terms of service provision, financial and corporate viability, ensuring that the Company meets all its statutory, contractual and service obligations.
Support the MD to engage clients in continuously reviewing, evaluating and improving the way services are delivered, ensuring that all statutory duties are discharged and that the company operates at a maximum level of efficiency.
