Job overview
The post holder will have responsibility for data collection within Haematology, supporting the Haemoglobinopathy and Haemophilia teams with their data requirements.
The successful candidate will have experience of data collection and entry. Previous experience working in an NHS clinical audit or network role is highly desirable.
In return we will provide a comprehensive induction programme and you will be appraised on a yearly basis with a view to developing knowledge and skills where appropriate.

Data collection and collation of relevant activity and clinical information, inputting data onto relevant information systems such as National Haemoglobinopathy Register (NHR), Specialised Services Quality Dashboard (SSQD) and the UK National Hemophilia Database (NHD). Perform validation of data collected and perform correction exercises across data systems.
Ensure the clinical data source, collection, entry, and transfer of information is of the highest standard and will be expected to maintain and develop the databases in an accurate and timely manner. This includes the systems and processes associated with them, as the needs of the service change.
To develop and maintain spreadsheets, datasets and systems that monitors the department's compliance against quality standards and escalating problems identified as appropriate.
