About
The Lincolnshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) has the function of arranging the provision of services for the purposes of the health service in accordance with the NHS Act 2006 and the Health and Care Act 2022. Through partnerships that bring together providers and commissioners across a geographical area with local authorities and other local partners to collectively plan health and care services to meet the needs of the local population the Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) exist to achieve 4 main aims:
- Improve outcomes in population health and healthcare.
- Tackle inequalities in outcomes, experience and access.
- Enhance productivity and value for money.
- Help the NHS support broader social and economic development
