Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust
About
Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust provides specialist mental health and learning disability services to the people of Leeds and across the Yorkshire and Humber region.
Service users are at the heart of our organisation. We constantly strive to provide the best possible care and support, working closely with related organisations to provide effective, accessible and modern mental health and learning disability services.
Working in partnership with our local communities, our core purpose is to improve the mental health and well being of the people who use our services.
Our Trust was awarded NHS foundation trust status on 1 August 2007. On 1 February 2012 our Trust became known as Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.
As a Foundation Trust we are accountable to the people we serve. Our Board of Directors is made up of executive and non-executive directors and is led by a Chair that is a non-executive director.
From 1 October 2015 our Trust has provided specialist mental health and learning disability services to people within Leeds and specialist services in York.
Our purpose
Our purpose is ‘improving health, improving lives’ and this is supported by our vision, values and behaviours.
The Trust is on a journey to embed collective and distributed leadership as close to services and service users as possible, so everyone is working towards shared goals, decision making and working collaboratively.
