Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Specialist Hospitals Board Information Team at UCLH. We are looking a Business Intelligence Partner (BIP) to lead on the provision of timely business intelligence and analysis to the board (along with the existing BIP) across all aspects of the business (quality, access standards, productivity, activity, income, research).
The Specialists Hospitals Board consists of four divisions: Queen Square, Women’s Health, Children and Young People and Royal National ENT and Eastman Dental Hospitals. The post holder will be predominantly responsible for the Queen Square division, they will have oversight of one further division and will be required to provide cover on occasion to the other divisions.
Since the introduction of EPIC, UCLH’s patient healthcare record system, in 2019, there is an unprecedented amount of detailed data collected by the Trust. The post holder will analyse, interpret and present this information to support performance management and service development.
Subject to demand, the vacancy may close before the current listed closing date. You are advised not to delay in submitting your completed application.
Advert
The successful candidate will be required to work autonomously with minimal supervision. NHS experience is an advantage, and they will use SQL to query relational databases and have strong analytical skills enabling them to translate data into meaningful management information and communicate it clearly and knowledgeably. This position would suit somebody who is highly numerate and able to build strong relationships with key stakeholders within the Trust.
