Trac proudly powers the recruitment for

Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

About

Thank you for your interest in this role and we would be delighted to welcome you to Sherwood Forest Hospitals.

Our Trust is nationally recognised as being an excellent place to work and to deliver care and we are rightly proud of our organisation and of all the colleagues who work here. We are the 2020 Health Service Journal Acute or Specialist Trust of the Year. This recognises our support for colleagues, the outstanding care we provide and our collaborative working with our communities.

The Care Quality Commission has rated King’s Mill Hospital, where we deliver 90% of our services, as Outstanding overall and we were rated as Outstanding for care across the whole Trust.  Our other two sites, Newark Hospital and Mansfield Community Hospital, were both rated Good.

It is not just the outside world that rates us well, our colleagues also rank us as being the best NHS Trust to work for in the Midlands in the 2018, 2019 and 2020 National Staff Survey. We were also rated as the third best Acute/Community NHS Trust when you combine all of the Staff Survey results.

We provide outstanding healthcare across our communities to 500,000 people in Mansfield, Ashfield, Newark and parts of Derbyshire and Lincolnshire. We work with 5,000 colleagues in our three hospitals and have well established relationships with health and social care partners through the Mid Notts Integrated Care Partnership.

We know happy colleagues deliver better care. Our teams work in a supportive environment, which nurtures your wellbeing and provides opportunities for development and progression. We do not just care for our patients, we also care for you.

We have an open, inclusive and diverse culture and we would like you to be part of the team.
