Job overview
We are looking for a motivated and dynamic individual to join the Skin Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) team, in supporting patients diagnosed and treated with Skin Cancer within Manchester Foundation NHS Trust.
Are you a nurse with an interest in skin cancer and looking for a new challenge? If you are, an exciting opportunity has become available within the Plastic Surgery Service for a Band 6 Skin Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialist, based at Wythenshawe Hospital. This is a full-time permanent position. You will join an established team of two specialist nurses, a cancer care coordinator and the multidisciplinary team within the service in providing holistic personalised care for individuals living with & beyond cancer. You will work alongside the Skin Cancer CNS's supporting nurse led clinics. Experience in Skin Cancer, Plastic Surgery, Dermatology or Oncology would be beneficial, as would experience in multidisciplinary and cross agency working. This is a diverse role with plentiful opportunities for professional development, working within a supportive and friendly team.

As a professional role model you will provide direct and indirect clinical care, ensuring the needs of the patient are central to service delivery. You will monitor and improve standards of care through, supervision of practice, clinical audit, evidence- based practice, teaching and supporting professional colleagues.
