Join our dedicated Desktop and Devices team, supporting a wide variety of Trust programmes with the timely preparation, configuration and deployment of PCs, devices and their accompanying software. You will assist with the development and maintenance of the estate and infrastructure, tackle 2nd line calls and escalations, and contribute to large scale hardware/software rollouts whilst supporting software, hardware and infrastructure change projects organisation wide.
You’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact whilst developing your technical skills alongside a talented and supportive Digital team. Advert
To provide technical and specialist IT support within the Public Health Wales Desktop and Devices team, focusing on hardware deployment, escalated calls and ensuring seamless functionality for end-users.
Take a proactive role in developing and optimising desktop infrastructure, documentation, and systems to meet organisational requirements, including taking lead responsibility for relevant deployment projects.
Collaborate with wider IT teams to support their initiatives, with a particular focus on enhancing desktop deployment processes and outcomes.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

The salary scale shown is for a full-time member of staff, with the amount being adjusted pro rata for those working less than 37.5 hours per week.
