Trosolwg o'r swydd
This post provides an exciting opportunity to join a large and established team in the RMCH Paediatric Psychosocial Service and with the support of senior colleagues, continue the development of a service into a new clinical area within the St Mary’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
Paediatric Psychosocial Services are well regarded in the Trust and close relationships exist with our colleagues in paediatric, neonatal (and indeed adult) medical specialties. The service also sits within a wider CAMHS Division within the acute Trust and so is well supported and connected with other children’s mental health services across Manchester, Salford and Trafford. We are keen to promote innovative practice, as well as specialist psychological assessment and intervention. Across the service we work with hospital inpatients and outpatients, with face-to-face as well as online/virtual modalities. We offer patient groups, consultation groups and psychosocial forums with other medical specialties, we actively contribute to the wider Trust Schwartz Round programme and support a range of therapeutic intervention modalities, including neuropsychology, family therapy, ACT, CFT, Narrative, CBT, psychotherapeutic approaches and parent-infant work.
Advert

Whilst it is a 12 month fixed term post, permanent positions are regularly available within our wider service, for candidates who find that they wish to pursue a career in this field.
To be considered for this role, you'll need:
- An accredited post-graduate qualification in Clinical Psychology
- Registration with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Post-qualification experience of working within the fields of neonatal, Paediatric, adolescent or adult health psychology
