Job overview

We are looking for an Admin Team Lead with both supervisory and administration experience who can provide strong leadership for a busy team of outpatient clerical staff, including booking and scheduling clerks and receptionists, within Therapy Services.
Operating within clearly defined policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines, you will aid the smooth running of a busy outpatient department and will reflect high quality customer care in all your daily activities.
As part of your leadership role you will be expected to show relevant attributes including the ability to lead others whilst prioritising incoming work streams.
Attention to detail is essential as is the ability to collate, manipulate and validate data. Ideally you will have experience managing and coordinating waiting lists along with a good knowledge of NHS waiting time targets (RTT).
You must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software (Excel) with the ability to pick up computer processes / systems quickly.

In accordance with policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines, to contribute to best practice and assist in service development by working closely with your peers.
A flexible approach is essential as is your ability to become a key contributor to the wider admin team whilst using your initiative and adapting well to change.
